Greedy , careless , always wanting more . Thats how I would describe those in charge of our government maybe even all the world “leaders”.

My husband and I aren’t spenders . I don’t get my hair or nails done , we don’t get yearly upgrades on our phones , we both drive cars older than 2004 (in-fact my handy dandy Toyota has 300,000 miles on it ). I cook most of our meals at home , not that it matters anyway since eating out and groceries are the same price . We bought the old cheap farmhouse knowing it would be a labor of love . All we ever wanted was a simple life . Little did we know in 2024 the HEAFTY price tag that would come with .

Today on our way home my title Toyota finally bit the dust . Two babes in the back crying , my sweet husband trying to get it going again. All I could think is “we need a new car, a reliable one “, but who can afford it? Even used “newer cars “ are 5,000+ in our area and half of the time they don’t even run good . It’s not even like my husband and I could do something to bring in more money. He makes an amazing amount of money and keeps working towards another promotion with the state . If I went back to work no job here in Appalachian region could pay me what it would cost to stick my kids in day care .

I don’t want to hear the “ you shouldn’t have had kids , why did you bring kids into this world..etc “ . Why did you have the snack that’s bad for you? Why did you get that coffee or energy drink today? Why do you go after the person who’s bad for you? The point is life should be LIVED. My kids bring me an immense amount of joy and I do my best to bring them all the joy. We should have the opportunity to do what makes us happy in life without an insane price tag . Especially for something so simple . I know a lot of people out there are feeling this sting right now . We are stuck , some hopeless and just holding out for a bit of relief . A NEW WORLD 💛
